Viewing Studies

The All Studies page is your central hub for browsing and finding studies.

All Studies List

Accessing the Studies List

  1. Click All Studies in the sidebar
  2. The studies list loads with your default filter (StartUp)

Understanding the Studies List

Each study row displays:

Filtering Studies

Use the filter tabs to view studies by status:

TabShows
StartUpStudies in initial active setup phase
OpenedStudies that are currently running
ClosedCompleted studies
DeclinedRejected or declined studies

To change filters:

  1. Click on the desired tab (StartUp, Opened, Closed, or Declined)
  2. The list updates to show only studies with that status

Searching Studies

You can search across multiple fields simultaneously:

1. Select Search Fields

  1. Click the Select fields to search in... dropdown
  2. Choose one or more fields to search within
  3. Available fields include:
    • Core fields (title, PI name, team)
    • Custom attribute fields defined by your organization

2. Enter Search Text

  1. Type your search term in the search box
  2. Results filter in real-time as you type
  3. The search is case-insensitive

Tips for Effective Searching

  • Select specific fields to narrow your search
  • Use partial names or terms
  • Clear the search box to show all studies in the current filter

Expanding Study Details

Click the arrow on any study row to expand and see additional details without opening the full study panel.

Opening a Study

To view full study details:

  1. Click "Details" - Opens the study in an overlay panel
  2. Click "Edit" - Opens the study in edit mode (if you have permission)

The study overlay provides access to:

  • Full study information
  • Notes and communication
  • Attachments and documents
  • Checklists
  • Workflow milestones
  • Team management

Empty States

If no studies appear in a filter:

  • For StartUp: You'll see a "Create Your First Study" button
  • For other filters: A message indicates no studies exist with that status

Refreshing Data

The studies list caches data for performance. Data is automatically refreshed when:

  • You switch between filters
  • You create, edit, or delete a study
  • You return to the page after being away
