Detailed Permissions
Organization Admin (org_admin)
Full administrative control over the organization.
Can access:
- Organization management page
- All organization settings
Can perform:
- Approve/decline membership requests
- Add, edit, and remove organization members
- Create, edit, and delete teams
- Link users with investigators
- Create, edit, and delete workflow templates
- Create, edit, and delete field templates
- Manage investigators
- All standard user actions
Organization Viewer (org_viewer)
Read-only access to organization settings.
Can access:
- Organization management page (view only)
Can perform:
- View organization configuration
- View members, teams, and templates
- All standard user actions
Cannot perform:
- Make changes to organization settings
- Approve/decline requests
- Modify templates or workflows
Team Admin (team_admin)
Administrative role for team management.
Can access:
- Metrics dashboard
- Team-related settings
Can perform:
- View study timelines and analytics
- Manage team-specific settings
- All standard user actions
Study Admin (study_admin)
Administrative control over studies.
Can access:
- Metrics dashboard
Can perform:
- View study timelines and analytics
- Administrative actions on studies
- All standard user actions
Metrics Viewer (metrics_viewer)
Access to analytics and reporting.
Can access:
- Metrics dashboard
Can perform:
- View study timelines
- View project analytics
- All standard user actions
Project Admin (project_admin)
Full control over specific studies (assigned per-study).
Can perform:
- Edit all details of assigned studies
- Manage study team members
- Change study status
- All standard user actions on assigned studies
Project Collaborator (project_collaborator)
Collaboration access to specific studies.
Can perform:
- View assigned studies
- Contribute to study work
- Limited editing based on study settings
- All standard user actions on assigned studies
Ancillary Team Collaborator (ancillary_team_collaborator)
Support role for study teams.
Can perform:
- View assigned studies
- Limited contribution capabilities
- Support team functions
Standard User Permissions
All authenticated users with organization membership can:

Multiple Roles
Users can have multiple roles simultaneously. When you have multiple roles:
- You get the combined permissions of all your roles
- Navigation shows all pages you have access to through any role
- The most permissive access applies when roles overlap
