Navigating the Interface

Study Hub features a clean, intuitive interface with a collapsible sidebar for navigation.

The Sidebar

The sidebar is located on the left side of the screen. It's your primary navigation tool.

Sidebar Behavior

• Collapsed by default - Shows only icons (80px wide)
• Expands on hover - Reveals full labels when you hover over it (200px wide)
• Active page indicator - A blue bar appears on the left side of the current page

Navigation Links

The sidebar shows different links based on your role:

Link	Description	Who Sees It
Inbox	Notifications, mentions, and follow-ups	Everyone
All Studies	Browse and manage all studies	Everyone
Metrics	Analytics and study timelines	Admins and metrics viewers
Organization	Organization settings and management	Org admins and viewers

Profile Section

At the top of the sidebar:

• Your profile avatar - Click to go to your Profile page

At the bottom of the sidebar:

• Settings (gear icon) - Access your Profile settings
• Logout (door icon) - Sign out of Study Hub

Main Content Area

The main content area takes up most of the screen and displays the current page content.

Page Types

Inbox

• Your home base
• Shows mentions and follow-ups
• Click items to open study details

All Studies

• List of all studies you can access
• Search and filter capabilities
• Create new studies

Metrics (if you have access)

• Study timeline visualizations
• Project analytics

Organization (if you have access)

• Member management
• Workflow configuration
• Team management

Profile

• Your personal settings
• Edit your profile information

Study Panels

When you click Details on a study from the Inbox or All Studies page, it opens in an overlay panel that appears over the current page.

Study Panel Tabs

The study panel has three main tabs at the top:

Tab	Description
Overview	Study summary, status, and action buttons (Open, Close, Decline, Edit)
Workflows	Assigned workflows and milestone tracking
Details	Notes, attachments, checklists, and people

Details Tab Filter Bar

The Details tab has a filter bar to switch between different views:

Filter	Shows
Action Items	Items needing attention
Pinned	Pinned notes
By Workflow	Notes organized by workflow
Notes	All notes on the study
Attachments	Uploaded files and documents
Checklists	Task checklists
People	Team members and contacts

Click the X button or click outside the panel to close and return to your previous view.

Color Scheme

Study Hub uses a consistent color scheme:

• Blue accents - Primary actions, active states, and links
• Gray tones - Secondary elements and inactive states
• Light background - Easy-to-read content areas
