Logging In to Study Hub

Study Hub uses secure authentication through AWS Cognito. This guide covers how to access your account.

Accessing Study Hub

1. Navigate to your organization's Study Hub URL in your web browser
2. You'll be redirected to the login page
3. Enter your credentials to authenticate
4. After successful authentication, you'll be redirected back to Study Hub

First-Time Login

If you're logging in for the first time and haven't been assigned to an organization yet, you'll see the Request Membership form instead of the main application.

Requesting Organization Membership

1. Fill out the membership request form with:
   • A message explaining your request
   • Your desired role
   • Whether you're a Principal Investigator (PI)
   • The organization you want to join
2. Submit your request
3. An organization administrator will review and approve your request
4. Once approved, you'll have full access to Study Hub

After Logging In

Once authenticated and affiliated with an organization, you'll be taken to your Inbox - your central hub for notifications and follow-ups.

Session Management

• Study Hub maintains your session automatically
• After extended periods of inactivity, you may need to log in again for security
• Your session tokens are refreshed automatically in the background

Logging Out

To log out:

1. Look at the bottom of the sidebar on the left side of the screen
2. Click the Logout button (door with arrow icon)
3. You'll be redirected to the visitor page

Troubleshooting

Can't log in?

• Verify you're using the correct credentials
• Check that you're accessing the correct Study Hub URL
• Contact your organization administrator if you continue to have issues

Stuck on membership request?

• Your request may still be pending approval
• Contact your organization administrator to check the status
