Study Hub Documentation
Welcome to the Study Hub user documentation. Study Hub is a research study and project management platform designed for organizations that need to track, manage, and collaborate on research studies.
How Study Hub Works
Study Hub is built around a simple philosophy: flexible documentation within a structured framework.
Notes are Central
Text-based notes are the heart of Study Hub. As you work through studies, you can freely document what's happening - conversations, decisions, updates, questions, anything that matters. Notes are flexible enough to capture whatever you need without forcing you into rigid forms.
Structure Where It Matters
But those flexible notes don't exist in a vacuum. They live within a structured system:
- Studies organize your work into discrete projects with defined attributes
- Workflows break processes into trackable milestones with dates
- Custom Fields capture the specific data points your organization needs
- Teams and People link work to the people responsible
The Best of Both Worlds
This design gives you:
| Flexibility | Structure |
|---|---|
| Document anything in notes | Pull metrics from workflow milestones |
| Mention people to notify them | Track progress with completion percentages |
| Add follow-ups for yourself | Filter and search across structured fields |
| Organize notes by workflow | Report on timelines and status |
You're never fighting the system to record what's actually happening. And your organization still gets the structured data it needs for oversight, reporting, and analysis.
